Cigar Club

The ultimate cigar and bourbon experience, Chateau Elan’s exclusive ‘Barrel & Ash’ club is a monthly pop-up masterclass hosted by Louis Guinfolleau. Each guest will receive a guided tasting of four, rare bourbons/ryes and a selection of premium cigars. Throughout this 90-minute experience, guests will also receive a cigar tutorial covering cigar basics, the history of cigars, growing regions, the cigar making process, and most importantly, cigar appreciation.

While our bourbons and cigars rotate monthly, guests can look forward to enjoying sips from Jefferson Ocean, Angel Envy Rye, Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, Woodford Reserve and/or WhistlePig. Guest will be able to pick from a range of cigars, selected from our extensive cigar library. Complimentary matches, lighters, and ash trays will be provided.

Nature Trails

Whether you choose to stroll the Spa Loop, take the trek around the Equestrian Center, or tackle the challenging hills of the Private Estates, our collection of nature trails and walking paths are the perfect way to get out and breathe in some of North Georgia's finest. During your excursion, find time to make a deeper connection with your surroundings and discover the beauty of every acre you explore.

As always, please remember to stop by the Front Desk and pick up a walking map before heading out. The nature trails and walking paths should only be traversed during daylight hours. Please do not leave trash on the trails nor should you feed wildlife that you may come across. North Georgia wildlife is oftentimes harmless but please take caution and avoid any animals that you may come into contact with along your journey. 

Bike Rentals

Experience an outdoor adventure as you bike through over 3,500 acres of winery, nature trails, and private estates. Bike rental is complimentary for all in-house guests and are available for pick-up at the Front Desk of the Inn at Chateau. Bike rentals are available from sunrise until sunset.

Please note, our nature trails are not without some challenge, as the terrain can be hilly. For recommended bike routes, please speak with a member of our team and they will be happy to provide you with suggestions for biking to your particular comfort level.

Helmets are available to guests upon request.

Al Fresco Soirées

Chateau Elan's 'Al Fresco Soirées' are the complete package for any intimate gathering. This unique private dining experience is best suited to groups of 6-12 guests and needs to be reserved at least one week in advance. 

Each Al Fresco Soirée includes a wine steward, food and beverage service, personalized décor, and your choice of venue for a three hour reservation. Guests may select between our prix fixe menu ($350/per person++) or gourmet charcuterie picnic ($250/per person++). Additionally, for each guest in attendance, our wine steward will perfectly pair a bottle of Chateau Elan wine to your meal selection.

Our prix fixe menu offering includes: 

• Choice of Salad:
• Burrata Salad with Heirloom Tomato, Eureka Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Fleur de Sel, and Pea Tendril
• Little Gem Caesar Salad with Shaved Parmesan, Watermelon Radish, and Baguette Crisp
• Choice of Entrée:
• Seared Diver Scallop, Parsnip and Spring Onion Puree, Basil Oil, Asparagus, and Lemon
• Rosemary and Honey Roasted Lamb, Pommes Puree, Asparagus, and Apricot-Merlot Demi

Special Considerations:

• Guests may select their preferred venue between our picturesque Rose Vineyard or East Vineyard Lawn. 
• Al Fresco Soirées must be booked at least one (1) week in advance of event date, Sunday through Thursday, based on availability. 
• A rain call will be made 48-hours in advance and at that time, an event date may be rescheduled due to weather. If weather changes within 48-hours, an event date may be rescheduled. 
• If a guest chooses to cancel the booking themselves, within seven (7) days of their event, a refund will not be given. If a guest cancels a booking outside of seven days, a refund will be given.  

Picnic d’Chateau

Enjoy a moment of requiescence, away from it all, inside the heart of our vineyards. Surround yourself with nature and indulge in an exquisite picnic basket filled with artisanal cheeses, cured meats, sandwiches, fruits, sweets, and your choice of Chateau Elan wine. 

Pre-packed picnic baskets are available for ordering through our Guest Experiences department. Guests should select their preferred wine at time of booking. Guests may select between a bottle of Merlot, Velvet, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Duncan Red, or Duncan Creek. Picnic baskets can be delivered to guestrooms or are available for pick-up at the Front Desk or at the Winery. Please note, no blanket is provided. Blankets are available for purchase separately from Le Petit Boutique.

Gelato Bike

Why order a glass of wine, when you could get it by the scoop? Introducing our new line of wine-based gelato, Chateau Elan’s kicks off summer with a trio of mouthwatering flavors - Strawberry Basil Brut, Red Wine Sangria, and the Foxy Fresh.

Each treat, which contains roughly the same amount of wine as a 5-ounce glass, will be served from the resort's Le Glacier gelato car and is available in either a sugar cone, waffle cone or classic bowl n' spoon. Peddling around the property, guests can often catch Chateau Elan's gelato cart stationed by the resort's pool, in front of the winery, and on the patio of Le Petit Cafe.

• Strawberry Basil Brut starts with a Chateau Elan Brut champagne-infused vanilla base and is swirled with herbaceous basil and fresh strawberries.
• Red Wine Sangria has a rich and creamy Duncan Creek base and tastes just like a classic red wine sangria with hints of fresh orange.
• Foxy Fresh is our bright and summery new staple with a beautiful ruby color that combines citrusy lemongrass with tart pomegranate.

Tastebuds, you've officially been warned.

Fireside S'mores

Starting at dusk, come huddle around the ambiance of a open fire and indulge in one of our favorite traditions— creating delicious s’mores, toasted just to your liking. S’more sets are available for pre-purchase at Le Petit Cafe for $12. Fire pits are located throughout the property at Le Petit patio, the Poolside Entertainment Deck, and outside the Winery.

Special Consideration:

• Please take great care when roasting marshmallows over an open flame.
• Children younger than 13 should not roast marshmallows.
• Children between 13 and 18 should only roast marshmallows while under adult supervision.
