Our resort was built with the spirit of hospitality in mind and it is in that spirit that we show care and concern at every level. We are in the business of serving people and I want to personally update you on the situation with COVID-19 (the coronavirus) and the steps we are taking to ensure your health and safety during your stay with us.

While there have been no cases reported at Château Élan Winery & Resort, in an abundance of caution, Château Élan leadership teams are in regular contact with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as state and local health departments and other global health organizations to make sure our staff have the most up-to-the-minute information to verify the actions we’re taking are comprehensive and appropriate.

CONFIDENT IN OUR CARE

As part of our standard processes, we have increased frequency of cleaning procedures, hygiene routines, monitoring and operational protocols — all of which are continually checked to ensure they meet or exceed all CDC guidelines, including:

PUBLIC SPACES:
Disinfecting hard surfaces throughout the Resort; public spaces including but not limited to elevator buttons, door knobs/handles, stair banisters, pens and signature pads.
Disinfectant wipes and hand-sanitizer readily available to guests at check-in and in the gyms, locker rooms and bathrooms.

GUEST ROOMS:
Housekeepers are deep-cleaning hotel rooms between stays and vigorously disinfecting all surfaces including high-touch areas such as remote controls, light switches, bedside lamp switches, the alarm clock and phones.

HEART OF THE HOUSE:
In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” we are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, locker room, laundry rooms and staff offices.

Additionally, I want to personally assure you that our Food & Beverage team has implemented strict policies and procedures in accordance to all CDC guidelines and recommendations in all our Bars and Restaurants.

-Salt and Pepper and Sugar Caddies are removed from tables and public areas and available upon request only.
-No groups larger than 6 people will be seated together and tables (and Winery Tasting areas) are spaced a minimum of six feet apart to allow for recommended social distancing.
Gloves available upon request and sanitizer readily available.
-Take-out with curbside pickup is available at Marc, Le Petit and Sarazens.
Restaurants are not currently offering dine-in or table service.
-Small Group programming like Afternoon Tea, Cooking Classes and Wine Tastings will continue with regular schedule after May 1, 2020.

FLEXIBLE BOOKING:
Existing Reservations: all reservations (even those described as ‘non-cancellable’ or ‘advance purchase’) that are scheduled for arrival before April 30, 2020 can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before scheduled

New Reservations: Any reservation made (even those described as ‘non-cancellable’ or ‘advance purchase’) booked between today and April 30, 2020 for any future arrival date can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival.

I know I speak for every member of our Château Élan family when I say that we take the greatest pride in the role we play in the lives of our customers, personally and professionally.
