Unforgettable Escape

Chateau Elan is a peaceful respite for its guests, a chance to unwind in an upscale environment that not only facilitates relaxation, but actively encourages it. The Spa at Chateau Elan embraces this ideal, providing a sanctuary that brings serenity, restoration, and health to the forefront of every spa experience. The Spa thoughtfully centralizes its retreat-style amenities, including food, beverage, exercise, and of course spa treatments, for an elevated spa experience unlike any other.

In the name of wellness, spa restaurant Fleur de Lis, led by Chef Christina Dolby, is dedicated to light, organic, and locally sourced dishes for breakfast and lunch that inspire a holistic lifestyle without sacrificing flavor and quality. The equally well-minded snack and tea bar, known for its fruit-infused water, is open daily.

The fitness center offers traditional gym equipment but also scheduled classes such as yoga and strength training. Scenic nature trails surround the property for outdoor activities and a spacious sun deck awaits guests seeking to sunbathe with a good book. Other spa amenities include an indoor saltwater pool, spa whirlpool, dry Finnish sauna, wet eucalyptus steam room, nail salon, and locker room with hair and makeup stations.

The Spa at Chateau Elan uniquely features 14 lavishly furnished Spa Suites designed to provide two to four guests with a plush retreat so serene, they may just stay in their terrycloth robes and slippers from check-in to check-out. Spa Suite guests have unlimited access to all spa facility amenities for the duration of their stay. Some of the suites have custom self-cleaning air jet tubs for two, while others have rain showers or garden tubs. Spa Suites are ideal for any getaway occasion and conveniently situated to enjoy the Spa treatment menu just steps away.

The many treatments available to spa guests vary in focus, duration, and intensity. All aspects of treatments can be tailored to the client’s comfort level- music type and volume, lighting, temperature, products used, and amount and intensity of pressure or techniques used.

Guests have a choice of therapeutic massages such as Swedish, Reflexology, or Aromatherapy, or they can customize a treatment to fit their needs. The Elite Massage incorporates a choice of warm Basalt stones or deep tissue techniques to relax tense muscles. The Euphoria package is a customizable treatment that integrates traditional massage techniques as well as other treatments including hot stone therapy, stretching, or 7 deluxe scalp treatment. Elite and Euphoria massages are wonderful for anyone but are recommended for active guests seeking to target specific muscles or joints before or after a round of golf or a tennis match.

Skin care treatments like the Hot Towel Treatment, Back Facial, and Elite Facial are restorative and refreshing, but they become essential when outdoor activities and warm-weather clothing leave skin vulnerable to the effects of the sun. The HydraFacial MD Treatment is a staff favorite at the Spa and highly recommended to improve skin’s overall health and often the appearance of pores. It is also a great “jump start” treatment for those who want to begin a new skincare routine or need a boost in their current routine.

The medical-grade HydraFacial targets fine lines, wrinkles, oily or congested skin, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation. It uses vortex technology with water to remove pollutants and clean the skin, then adds serums and other products based on the client’s skincare needs. The HydraFacial is considered to offer the deepest skin layer penetration on the market before injectables, yet it is surprisingly gentle, non-abrasive, and nurturing for the skin.

Body treatments at the Spa are holistic in their approach. The Crush uses a signature grape seed scrub with seasonally appropriate scents to moisturize and restore skin’s natural glow. The De-Vine Mud Body Wrap cleanses and detoxifies with a French clay masque. The wrap is nourishing on its own or as part of the Total Winery Ritual, which uses a crushed grape seed scrub and the wrap to exfoliate and moisturize skin before an indulgent wine bath that infuses the body with the anti-aging power of grape seeds.

The Chateau Salt Glow is an increasingly popular body treatment consisting of a total body exfoliation with fine salt grains, silky rice oil, and a deeply nourishing moisturizer application. The results reveal smoother, rehydrated skin with a radiant glow. This treatment, as well as the Crush treatment, can be supplemented with a Vichy Shower to relax the body.

The Spa is a destination for individuals seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, but also for couples seeking a romantic day or weekend together. Side-by-side massages or facials, soothing aromatherapy or invigorating salt glows, and intimate rainfall showers or candle lit bubble baths are some of the choices available.

The Couples’ Romantic Journey is a four-hour affair designed to bring partners closer through quiet reflection and luxurious treatments. The journey begins with facials, full-body exfoliation, and Swedish massages. Next it takes them to a private deep soaking air-jet tub enjoyed with a bottle of champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries. The experience ends with a gourmet lunch from Fleur de Lis served in the couple’s Spa Suite.

Small groups up to six are also welcome and may enjoy curated experiences such as the Spa Retreat, which includes lunch, champagne, and choice of a Swedish massage or customized facial, or the Celebration Luncheon, which includes lunch, champagne and cupcakes, and choice of an Elite Massage or customized facial.

Every part of the Spa’s facility and its treatment packages are tailored to Chateau Elan’s commitment to wellness and relaxation, ensuring that each experience is not only worth the client’s time but is of maximum health benefit.
