Mixologist Jimmy’s Holiday Cocktails

Here at Chateau Elan we LIVE for the holidays and everything that comes with them. Wine Bottle Trees, festive decor, wine, special menus and of course… delicious seasonal cocktails. Master Mixologist, Jimmy, oversees all our bars at Chateau Elan and shared his two favorite holiday cocktails to try this Christmas.

You can try these at home… or if you are visiting head over to our L’Auberge lounge and try them there!

MULLED WINE
(served warm)

RECIPE
1) Muddle your spices — cloves, cinnamon and star anise.⁣
2) Pour into 3oz warm apple cider (let sit for 24 hours if you want it extra fragrant).⁣
3) Mix in 3oz Chateau Elan Pinot Noir with a bit of honey and STIR!⁣
4) Strain, pour and garnish with orange peel and a cinnamon stick! ⁣

 

RUMCHATA CINNAMON ROLL

RECIPE
Mix
1.5oz RumChata⁣.
2oz half and half cream.⁣
.5 oz ginger liqueur.
Garnish with red sugar and of course a cinnamon stick. ⁣
Streusel cinnamon powder to top off!

RumChata is a cream liqueur that has become very popular since its release in 2009. It is made from a blend of five-time distilled Caribbean rum and Wisconsin dairy cream and is flavored with cinnamon, vanilla, and other “secret flavors.”
