We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped to make this meet and this season a huge success. A very special thanks goes to our assistant coaches: Maggie Shay, Jared Coury, Savannah Miller, and Seth Engleman. These four individuals worked tirelessly with the younger swimmers and inspired them to do their best in all of their events. Jodi Miller and Carrie Moore worked all four sessions running the staging area so that every swimmer was where they were supposed to be so they could swim their events. Jamie Akoubian took countless pictures and manned the false start recall rope for all four sessions. We had numerous parents volunteer to work the team area to make sure the swimmers got to where they needed to be for each race. Not a single swimmer missed an event!
Thanks to all of the spectators that cheered loudly for EVERY Chateau Elan swimmer! We had the best seats in the house and because of our team's outstanding performance, we will get to keep those seats for another year! Thanks for being spirited and for displaying outstanding sportsmanship. Thanks to all of the swimmers for giving their best effort. So many swimmers improved their times. Hopefully everyone had a positive experience. While some shed some tears, they all turned to smiles when they found out we had won the meet! Summer League swimming is a team sport and it takes an enormous amount of cooperation and teamwork to have a successful year. We are extremely proud to be affiliated with an outstanding club like Chateau Elan and we feel blessed to have such a wonderful group of families! We hope that everyone will remember that swimming is just a sport and hopefully each family will look back on their summer with fond memories and cherish the time they've spent with each other in a healthy activity. Every participant is a winner in our eyes!
