Zagat Survey 2006/2007
The Woodlands Course ranked in the Zagat Survey's America's Best Golf Courses with Very Good to Excellence scores in all categories.  On Chateau Elan's younger sibling, a "must-play" that "requires a great deal of accuracy" ("try the up-slope side of the fairways for a good roll"); amid "beatific mountains and rolling hills" with "tremendous housing along the course", the "beautific setting" alone makes it "worth the trip" northeast from Atlanta.
