*2 Person Scramble Format: Each golfer hits a tee shot. The team selects the best shot between the two golfers and moves to that position. Both golfers hit from this position. Play continues in this manner until the ball is holed.
*Peoria Handicap Scoring System: One score is kept per team, per hole. 6 holes will be selected at random by our golf professional. The team scores for these 6 holes will be added together and multiplied by 3. Par (71) will be subtracted from this number and then multiplied by 80% to create the team’s handicap. The team’s final score is calculated by subtracting their team handicap from their gross score.
EXAMPLE: 6 hole team score = 30 strokes. 30 x 3 = 90. 90 – Par 71 = 19.
80% of 19 = 15 (rounded) is the team’s Peoria Handicap. Team’s gross score is 94. 94 – 15 = 79 net.
