Located in the Culinary Studio within the Wine Market and hosted by Chateau Elan's own professional Chefs. Observe, learn, and get a taste of Culinary expertise. This is not a class, but a demonstration by Château Élan's own Chefs loaded with the sights and smells of all things foodie.

DELUXE TOUR
The tour begins in the Winery Retail area, where the group is met, and welcomed by one of our knowledgeable tour guides, who will accompany the group throughout their tour. The tour guide will take the group to a vast balcony overlooking the production area of the winery. Here a brief overview is given of Château Élan’s history, followed by winery specific information regarding acreage, and the type of grapes we grow. After a wine making process explanation, including the difference between white and red wine, where the aging process is explained, the tour is concluded with a tasting of four wines. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.

$10.00 + Tax per person, minimum charge of $150 if less than 15 people. Advanced Booking Required. Private tours cannot start until after 6:30 pm on Saturday or after 5 pm on Sunday.

EXECUTIVE TOUR
The executive tour follows the same pattern as the deluxe tour described above. On this personalized tour, your group is escorted by one of our Executive Tour Guides. The executive tour is very detailed, providing extensive information regarding the winery itself, the process of making red and white wine, the aging process in oak barrels. The tour concludes in the Tasting Room for a wine tasting with six Château Élan wines with assorted crackers. The tour lasts approximately one hour with ample time for questions. 6 wines tasted.

$15 + Tax per person, minimum charge of $225 if less than 15 people attend. Advanced Booking Required. Private tours cannot start until after 6:30 pm on Saturday or after 5 pm on Sunday.

MEET THE WINEMAKER TOUR
Our Winemaker conducts his fascinating in-depth Winery Tour with an extensive wine tasting. At your request, a tour can be customized to your group’s needs, with discussion varying from growing grapes to food and wine pairings. Time will vary, but approximately two hours should be allowed.

$30 + Tax per person, minimum charge of $500 if less than 15 people attend. Prices do not include tax. Advanced Booking Required. Private tours cannot start until after 6:30 pm on Saturday or after 5 pm on Sunday.

A unique Wine Making Team Building activity is also available for groups of 15 or more.

Cheese display is available upon request for an additional fee for any Private Group Wine Tour.

Regulations for Private Tours
Maximum of 50 people per tour (Executive & Winemaker Tours, maximum of 40 people) Minimum of 15 people for Team Building, must have at least 3 groups of 5 people. A cancellation fee of 50% of the anticipated cost will be charged if the event is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. Tours cannot be delayed more than 30 minutes, as tours will otherwise back up. Although we will make every effort to conduct the tour, it is subject to cancellation. No private tours including Winemaker tours and Wine Making Team building can be booked before 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays or 5:00 p.m. Sundays due to public tour volume. Tours will be scheduled a minimum of 1 hour apart.
